The Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art collaborated to create a solution that, when sprayed out of an aerosol, dries instantly, and can be washed and reused. This can be used for clothing, bandages, and possibly in other industries.

Saline Solution allows for Regeneration in Tadpoles

Because ion transport has been discovered to be a regulator of regeneration(healing, or growing back limbs), this study chose to use an addition of a saline solution to quicken and even renew growth in wounds. Although this study was done on tadpoles, it is believed that it may be useful in healing human wounds in the future.
